Death By Hill Ride "Tentative" Date

Greetings, frozen Jerks. As a heads up, the tentative date that has been sent down from on High for this ride is Thursday, Feb 25th. You might remember last year's ride, and this will probably be mostly the same route, with a couple of minor extras thrown in. Stay tuned for more info, and a hammered-down date. Sorry 'bout the Thursday, most of us don't have m-f 9-5 jobs. It probably won't really go down if it is below freezing.

In the meantime, check out this meaty ride/race/thing that started showing up on radar at Team Seagal HQ - it's the inaugural year too! The 2010 Gravel World Championships!
150 miles of Nebraska dirt, and free!

Hopefully our group will be as diverse as this one:

...and be at least as much fun as a vacation with these folks:

Thursdays are a no go. Make it a couple Saturdays afterward and I am in.

Is that TC Man Johnson? Holy shit. How's the univaga treating you? Were you going to ride that on the death ride?

Johnson said...

Yes Sir it is I.

The Univega has taken a back seat to my new road bike, but I still ride it on occasion. I rebuilt the front wheel after braking 3 spokes on a ride. It only took me 5 hours to rebuild. So, I am pretty awesome at that.

I think I will be riding my new bike on the death ride if the team can work around my schedule.

How is recruiting going for Team Seagal AZ?

The death ride is amazing. It will remove any sand that may be lurking in those hard to reach places. If you don't make the group ride, Coach loves that shit so I am sure he will take you out there.

Unfortunately recruiting is slow here. It is a small town and I haven't done any mtb races out here yet. Ah but the snow is melting off the trails and the temps are hitting in the mid 50's in the afternoons again. Praise Energor.

You are definitely welcome, Anonymouus. It is truly a dream come true of mine to have this blog further someone's academic abilities. I know my college assignments were full of difficulty, and if I had at my disposal as your informations, I would have done a lot better.
