2009 Non-Race #1: Chubb Challenge

This past Sunday we here at Team Seagal HQ found ourselves at Chubb for our 2nd Annual Chubb Challenge. With every race being based on speed/fitness I always thought it would be cool to have an event that was based on pure bike handling and skill. What better place to have this than Chubb. We have 11 checkpoints that each racer attempts an is awarded points depending on how many attempts, and if they clean it on the first attempt. Last year we were all stoked to see the Champion for the day climb the steps, and this year was just as epic. 2009 Champ Mitch Johnson cleared every section, sometimes twice, and even once on a borrowed SS! It was a great day filled with good friends, food, and ice cold Pabst. We all now know how much practice we need in order to compete with the possible Mitch vs Stitz showdown 2010!!! Thanks to all the awesorme people who showed up to race and made it such a fun day on the trail, Dave our PBR rep for coming out, and CockPuncher for manning the grill afterwards. This video pretty much sums up the entire day. I have only seen 2 people ever ride up the "Stairs". Both times happened at the Non-Race, Both riders ended up the winner, and both are totally solid doodz. Don't Suck and we will see you at the 3rd annual Chubb Challenge Mitch vs Christian 2010!
