The rumors are true, and our wonderful sponsor has delivered yet again! I give you the 2009 Kona Major One CX frame. Just like it's geared brother the Major Jake, but sans gears.......Now thats what Im talking about! Looks like I will have a nice new bike for the Dirt Crits this summer!

Rode mine to work this glorious morning, complete with a couple trips up the grassy knoll in Forest Park as well as the grass hill next to our parking lot. I was correct in my assumption that 42x18 is waaay too much gear for me. I am happy to report, however, that the bike rides fucking great. Fits like a glove. I, however, am certainly not yet to the rank of total badass. More like twisted taint first class...Punchor
Sweeeeeeet, is the season for new mounts and that is one bad ass ride. I see a lot of snapped wrists in that bad boys future.
I came across a pic of the bike fully-built. Any idea on when it will be released to the public?
You should be able to purchase through you local authorized Kona dealer by now! This bike is soooooo nice!
I rode my "Major" into hell this glorious life. I dismounted early for the first barrier section and totally kicked satan's ass. The 53x16 gear that I chose was a little bit too easy for me. But I was glad to learn that riding the bike automatically made my dick hard.

Maybe a dumb question, but are those fender mounting holes above the dropouts? And are there fender mounts on the fork?
No fender mounts on this race machine....however the Jake the snake comes equiped with both!
Great looking frameset! Looks like the 2010 complete bike will complement your kits nicely.
